Des Ausques aux Auscitains. 15 ans d'archéologie urbaine en pays d'Auch
Overlooking the Gers Valley, Auch Cathedral is located in the center of the medieval town. However, current Auch is only the result of an urban history in movement, which, first of all, led the political center of the Ausques from the heights of Roquelaure to the terraces of the Gers, before fixing it definitively in its current perimeter. What do we know about these settlements between 600 BC and 600 AD? Who were their inhabitants? How and what did they live on? 20 researchers and specialists have come together to answer these questions in this book.
