Numismatica Antiqua

Launched in 2002 under the name Numismatica Anatolica, the Numismatica Antiqua collection initially aimed to publish all kinds of works, corpora and monographs, dedicated to the ancient coinage of Asia Minor, most notably its Greek and Roman provincial issues. Since 2015, its scope has been extended, in time and space, to cover all coins issued in antiquity, from the shores of the Atlantic all the way to Central Asia. With thirteen volumes published to date, the Numismatica Antiqua collection provides numismatists and curious readers alike with a wide range of publications in the form of symposium proceedings and collections of essays, as well as corpora, mint studies and royal and imperial coin issues. The themes it covers should enable all historians of coinage to make known, in the standard scholarly languages, the results of their high-quality and constantly updated research.
