Thanat'Os

The Thanat’Os collection was created in 2011 as part of the research programme of the MSHA (Maison des Sciences de l’Homme d’Aquitaine) and seeks to satisfy the curiosity of students and professionals working on archaeological sciences. It welcomes works surrounding Death and its phenomena in ancient societies of all periods. Priority has been given to interdisciplinary studies, at the intersection of the human and social sciences (history and archaeology) and biology, which bring together researchers from various backgrounds and sensibilities. Monographs or pioneering works now also form part of the collection.
