Territoires multiples

Espaces, définitions, expériences dans le monde grec : VIIe-Ier siècle a.C. (TeMAES I)

Stefania De Vido, Arianna Esposito, Airton Pollini & Clémence Weber-Pallez

This volume provides an overview of the principles and issues at stake in the TeMAES project (Multiple territories: agency and socio-economic environment). The study of ancient territories is structured around two aspects, one geographical and the other social. These are the main lines of research in order to outline the evolution of urban space and the topography of a city or a network of cities, and to interpret the relations with the territory and the social landscape. The proposed research draws on the experience of a firmly intra- and interdisciplinary approach, involving different types of sources to address the political, legal and economic dimensions of a territory and its interconnections.
