This second book of the AdriAtlas series is dedicated to the publication international roundtable discussion which took place in Bari (May 2017) and gathers 18 contributions of over 29 authors – Albanese, Croatian, French, Italian, Slovenian. The first themes discussed are paleoenvironment and the management, protection and valorisation of archaeologic sites in Albania, Apulia, Les Marches. At the heart of the volume lies the study of the relationships between settlement and the utilisation of natural resources in Apulia, Emilia-Romagna, Veneto and the Slovenian and Triestine Karst between the 4th century BC and the early Middle Ages. At last, a large part is dedicated to relations between Adriatic roads, rivers and harbours.
